The specifications don't include the most exciting recently leaked OnePlus Watch 3 update

en.bedadung.com -- Because the OnePlus Watch 2 had a battery that was unmatched and made significant advancements over the first, devoted fans loved it. Despite being among the top smartwatches of the previous year, one feature was sadly abandoned. However, the specifications of the OnePlus Watch 3 were recently leaked, and thankfully, it appears that strong demand has been satisfied, making it the wearable to beat in 2025 (Smartprix via @Cartidise on Twitter).

Fans of OnePlus are naturally devoted to their devices, but they couldn't help but ask why the OnePlus Watch 2 had a rotating crown that served no use. You need not worry any longer, as the latest information suggests that the rotating dial will be back. According to a Smartprix leak, "It will offer a more intuitive way to navigate the UI" this time, and the tactile control it offers "complements the touchscreen."

Smartwatch enthusiasts were not amenable to the manufacturer's explanation that the button for the previous year spun for durability reasons. OnePlus apparently took note, as this year's flagship wearable will integrate tactile input in a manner that somewhat like that of the Apple Watch and Pixel Watch 3.

The battery capacity was leaked from the FCC file.

Of course, this leak has other noteworthy aspects as well. Additionally, we received a nearly comprehensive set of specifications, which together paint a picture of a watch that other brands will begin the year catching up to in most aspects. According to what we've already heard, the battery will probably grow to 648mAh from the 500mAh of the Watch 2. Although the material from today doesn't specifically corroborate it, the fact that 500mAh+ is mentioned indicates that the potential is still there.

While not very surprising, the remaining gear also doesn't let you down. The Snapdragon W5 Gen, 2GB RAM, and 32GB stay the same, guaranteeing performance that is second only to wearables with Exynos W1000 power. As anticipated, it will continue to use the Real Time Operating System configuration, which makes use of an extremely efficient processor for on-device functions.

While the often-discussed ECG will be available in some areas, it won't be effective elsewhere due to foreseeable legal limits. According to the source, OnePlus is "also exploring LTE connectivity," which would effectively turn it into a wristwatch that can be worn on the wrist. That would be a huge improvement over the Watch 3. But it's a function that other watches made in China have already abandoned. There's not much hope for us.

According to reports, the third-generation flagship OnePlus Watch will be available in two colors when it launches in the first quarter of 2025. One of those will have the Radiant Steel finish of the previous model if the render is accurate.
