The rugged ThinkPhone 25 with aramid fiber back is unveiled by Motorola.

Motorola just unveiled the ThinkPhone 25, a new smartphone. We first exclusively unveiled this smartphone's design before releasing additional pictures of it. Apparently, those representations were accurate.

With the return of aramid fiber, the Motorola ThinkPhone 25 is officially official. Not your typical rugged smartphone, the Motorola ThinkPhone 25 has the MIL-STD-810H standard in addition to being IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. This smartphone is really durable.

Additionally, the phone has aramid fiber on the back, covering both the camera island and the backplate. Surprisingly, the frame is constructed of plastic. It is primarily flat, though it does slope toward the edges.

Having said that, the phone features a centered camera hole and a flat display. Motorola promises five years of security and Android OS updates, and its bezels are extremely tiny.

A 6.36-inch pOLED LTPO display is part of it.

The phone has a 6.36-inch pOLED screen with 2670 x 1220 resolution. This display is an LTPO panel with an adjustable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This area has a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, and Motorola also includes 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Additionally, the business provides this phone with 256GB of storage. The gadget comes with a 4,310mAh battery and supports both 15W wireless charging and 68W TurboPower cable charging.

Here, Android 14 is already installed, and the fingerprint scanner is positioned beneath the screen. On the rear is a 50-megapixel primary camera (Sony LYTIA-700C sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS). It is supported by a 10-megapixel telephoto camera (3x optical zoom, f/2.0 aperture, OIS) and a 13-megapixel ultrawide unit (120-degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture, macro).

It will be available for purchase next month and is only available in one color.

The phone does support Dolby Atmos and has dual speakers. There is also support for 5G connectivity and Bluetooth 5.3. It provides a dual SIM (eSIM + nano SIM) configuration.

The Motorola ThinkPhone 25 weighs 171 grams and has dimensions of 154.1 x 71.2 x 8.1 mm. Carbon black is the only color available. The phone will go on sale in November and cost €499/£450. (*)
